Left handed Ruy Lopez

Last year I wondered why the Versov System wasn't more popular at the club level. Not because of any intrinsic merit in the opening, but simply because you can find a champion for just about any off-beat opening.
Well the Veresov has popped up in the current 'Max Euwe' match between Nigel Short and Anish Giri. After the first two games of their match were drawn, Short went for the 'Left handed' Ruy, and scored a surprisingly quick win.
